You do not have to participate in Chats.  You may choose not to participate by selecting to make you Profile Private on the Accounts tab of your Member Profile Page.

Should you choose to participate, we want to keep our chat friendly, welcoming, and useful for everyone, so please follow these simple rules:’

        •       Treat all members with courtesy and kindness
        •       Respect different opinions and life experiences
        •       Disagree politely—no personal attacks

 

Communicate Thoughtfully
        •       Use clear, respectful language
        •       Avoid sarcasm, shouting (ALL CAPS), or aggressive tone
        •       Keep messages relevant to the group’s purpose

 

What’s Not Allowed
        •       Harassment, bullying, or offensive language
        •       Discriminatory or hateful comments of any kind
        •       Excessive forwarding, spam, or chain messages
        •       Unapproved advertising, fundraising, or promotions
        •       Sharing false or misleading information intentionally

 

Privacy Matters
        •       Do not share personal details or private messages without consent
        •       No screenshots or forwarding of chat content outside the group without permission

 

Sensitive Topics
        •       Political and religious discussions should be handled carefully
        •       Content that causes division or distress may be limited or closed by moderators

 

Moderation
        •       Moderators help keep the chat safe and respectful
        •       Please follow moderator guidance
        •       Posts may be removed if they breach these rules
